Etro’s Pre-Fall 2026–2027 “Homebound” collection redefines the idea of home as a global state of mind, blending rich textures, tapestry-inspired patterns, and cross-cultural references into a wardrobe that feels both comforting and cosmopolitan.

The Pre-Fall 2026–2027 collection by Etro, titled “Homebound,” tells the story of a home without geographical borders, a home that can take shape anywhere in the world. The collection demonstrates how comfort and warmth can coexist with the brand’s globe-trotting spirit, without straying from Etro’s exuberant visual identity and signature patterns.

This season opens with a strong focus on daywear, drawing inspiration from the atmosphere of the Shetland Islands and cozy countryside cottages. The fabrics evoke tapestry-like textures, ranging from dense botanical motifs reminiscent of classic wallpaper designs to an abundance of tartans, plaids, and, of course, the house’s iconic paisley. The combination of these elements creates a sense of intimacy and nostalgia while maintaining a contemporary chromatic energy.

As the lineup unfolds, the collection shifts toward Far Eastern references and subtle orientalism. Chunky jacquard coats, sherpa and shearling jackets layered with overprints, and richly textured outerwear deliver a luxurious yet comfortable aesthetic. Alongside these pieces, deconstructed designs with a blanket-like effect introduce an appealing contrast to flowing printed dresses and more formfitting silhouettes. This interplay between volume and fluidity, structure and freedom, stands out as one of the collection’s key strengths.

Over the past three years, Creative Director Marco De Vincenzo has worked to balance the house’s heritage codes with his own creative vision. In this pre-collection, that equilibrium is clearly visible: the brand’s visual exuberance and bold color palette remain intact, yet the central message feels sharper than ever. For the Etro community, “home” is a fluid concept, one can feel belonging and ease at any latitude, within any culture or aesthetic influence.

Overall, Etro’s Pre-Fall 2026–2027 collection blends rich textures, diverse patterns, and layered cultural references to simultaneously convey warmth, travel, and cosmopolitanism, a modern statement that home is wherever you carry your personal style.
